1. How it works
- Tell us where you are. Start from an idea, your data, a draft, or a reviewer's report, or choose a single service (journal check, references, figures, editing, formatting).
- Free where no AI is used. The journal search and shortlist, the journal safety check, data checks, the reference check, the figure check and the proof error count are free, as often as you like.
- Continue when you are ready: steps that use AI (topics, analysis, writing, the full check, editing, formatting, the package, revision) are paid from your credit, or included when you buy the whole paper. Each starts when you press Start.
- Download everything in the format you need, and submit when you are happy with it.
2. What is free
Everything that uses no AI is free, as often as you like (see above). Warnings are always free too: an unsafe or hijacked journal, problems in your data, missing ethics approval, or a design that may not give a clear result.
3. Paying
- Pay as you go: buy credit from ₹199 on the Pricing page and spend it on any AI step. It never expires. Before you start a step, its page shows how much it usually takes.
- Whole paper, paid once: every step of one paper, from topic to submission package. You get the full paper with its score and the recommended changes.
- Recommended before you submit: 8 out of 10 or more for quality and 9 or more for journal fit. Make the recommended changes yourself and check again, or press Keep improving; each round is paid from your credit. A round helps most when you add what only you have (better data, missing details).
- Writing goes section by section. If your credit runs out, writing pauses and continues as soon as you add credit.
4. What is automatic, and what our editors do
Results on your paper's page are produced by MyGuide within minutes, following the house rules our editors wrote from years of manuscript work. Whenever a check finds something it cannot settle on its own (a journal's indexing, a data problem, an ethics question), our team looks at it and writes to you. In the Human editor review, one of our editors reads your whole manuscript. You stay the author and decide on every change.

Once your final manuscript is ready, you can order a detailed review with recommendations from our editors, paid once. It also comes with extra credit for any service. Order it from your paper's page; we confirm the delivery date within one working day.
5. Files you can upload
- Manuscripts: Word (.docx) is best, because we return it with tracked changes in your name. PDF is accepted for checks.
- Data: CSV, Excel (.xlsx), SPSS (.sav) or Stata (.dta). Send the raw export, with timestamps if you collected it yourself.
- Reviewer comments, decision letters, proofs: Word, PDF or text.
6. Files you can download
- Every result (journal shortlist, journal check, reference check, figure check, manuscript check, topics, data check, analysis, rejection analysis, proof corrections): Word or PDF, and its tables as Excel or CSV.
- Your data: CSV, Excel, SPSS, Stata or R.
- Manuscripts and letters: Word, PDF, LaTeX, OpenDocument, Rich Text, Markdown or HTML.
- Figures: PNG at 300 dpi with captions.
Look for Download your results on your paper's page. Files carry your name as author.
7. You stay the author
Everything we deliver is a draft for you to check and make your own before you submit it, as our Terms of Use explain. Where your journal asks, declare the help you used; we prepare an accurate declaration for you to check.
8. Privacy
Your manuscripts and data are private, kept apart from every other client's, and never used to train AI. Data analysis runs in a sealed environment. See our Privacy Policy.
9. Payments
In India, prices are in rupees and GST is added on top; payments go through Razorpay (cards, UPI and net banking). In mainland China, prices are shown in yuan (rounded) and paid in US dollars through PayPal. Elsewhere, prices are in US dollars, paid through PayPal. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
